What are Varicose and Venous Veins? Venous Veins are visibly prominent, dilated, and twisted veins. They are more common in women than in men, in the superficial veins of the legs that are subject to prolonged pressure when standing, with pregnancy, obesity, menopause, aging, leg injury, and abdominal straining. Both varicose and Venous veins result when valves designed to keep blood from running backward away from the heart and back down into the leg fail or become loose and flabby allowing backwash, which stretches veins and even slowly leaks into the ankle and leg tissue, causing swelling. How does the treatment work? DDS Bio-current strengthens the loose and flabby valves which reduce and eventually stop the leakage of backflow of blood into the veins and shrink the stretched out veins to their normal size. What results can I expect? You can expect to see improvement in the appearance of your leg veins immediately following the first treatment. However, more than one treatment session is often needed to fully clear blood vessels and reduce the appearance of the leg veins completely. Treatment plans can be adjusted to fit everyone’s lifestyle.
